Father's Day
Thinking about my dad alot today. It is hard to believe that he has been gone for 13 years. I am like him in so many ways - my deep-rooted love of my family, my pets, Maine, good home cooking and the Red Sox are just a few of the ways he is with me everyday. Love and miss you Dad!

Waiting for summer to officially arrive!
Spring and summer are my favorite seasons. The days are warm and long and they are seasons of growth. Much like the plants in my yard, I too reach upwards to the sun and yearn to grow. I face the daily stuggles that can stunt my growth, but I push forward - kicking and screaming at times, but ultimately reaching the destination.
